NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Royal School District will be holding a board retreat on Thursday, July 23 at 1:30 pm at 111 S 2nd Ave, Yakima, WA 98902, WA 98837. The board retreat is called for the purpose of discussing board goals for the 2026-2027 school year.

Nestled in the heart of Central Washington, the Royal School District (#160) spans approximately 390 square miles, serving a rural community 17 miles east of the Columbia River’s Vantage Bridge. The district comprises five schools—from preschool through grade 12, with programs extending to special-needs students up to age 21. With an enrollment of around 1,700 students, Royal SD prides itself on fostering a “Tradition of Pride and Excellence,” blending academic rigor with strong social-emotional and physical safety supports to ensure all students receive a high-quality education.
