With the start of the new school year, we’re getting excited to see you in our stadiums, stands and on our fields soon!
As with so many things in our economy right now, the price to run our athletics programs has increased over the years, making it increasingly more challenging to run our athletics programs on the funds that we are currently generating through ticket sales. Because we value the continued support of our Knights fans, and recognize that you are the spirit of our community, we have worked diligently to keep the costs of attending our games as affordable as possible through the years and through these increased costs.
One of the greatest sources of revenue that we have to continue to support our teams are the season passes that we offer. Season passes allow our fans to attend home athletic events during all three seasons in the school year and offer significantly reduced pricing in comparison to single-game entry ticket prices.
In evaluating our options for increasing the revenue that we need to ensure that we are able to continue to support high-quality, award-winning athletic programs for our Knight students, we have made the difficult decision to increase the cost of season ticket passes this school year.
Before making this decision, we researched neighboring districts to see how our current pricing compares to those within our area. What we found is that our current season pass pricing is significantly lower than all of the other six districts in our area.
Our current season pass pricing is listed below:
- Family Pass $40
- Adult Pass $25
- Senior Pass $10
In contrast, our neighboring districts’ price ranges are shown below:
- Family Pass: Lowest $100, Highest $180
- Adult Pass: Lowest $60, Highest $85
- Senior Pass: Lowest $15, Highest $55
Going forward, Family Season Passes will be $60, Adult Season Passes will be $40, and Senior Season Passes will be $25. Despite these increases, our prices will remain considerably lower than those in neighboring districts, and we remain committed to offering these affordable pass options. While we understand that some may be concerned about the increase in season pass prices, we hope our community and fans know how much we value and appreciate your continued support of our students.
